Our research in pharmacokinetic-pharmacodynamic [PK-PD] modeling focuses on mechanismbased models with excellent extrapolation and prediction properties. A key element is the explicit distinction between parameters for describing drug-specific and biological-system specific properties as determinants of the pharmacological response.
